Small Seeds, Big Harvest

Title: The Ministry of Little Things Scripture: Zechariah 4:10 (KJV) “For who hath despised the day of small things?”
We often think ministry is measured in big moments—crowds, numbers, visible impact. Yet God delights in small beginnings. The rebuilding of the temple in Zechariah’s day did not look impressive, but heaven rejoiced over every stone laid.
Your quiet work—writing a devotional, fixing a layout, posting a simple truth—may feel small, but it is not insignificant. God sees every “little” act of obedience and counts it as faithfulness.
Do not despise the day of small things in your life or ministry. The Lord is present in the small, steady steps that no one else applauds. Seeds are small too, but they carry harvest inside them.
Prayer: Father, forgive me when I look down on small beginnings. Teach me to see Your hand in the little tasks and hidden labors. Use every small seed I plant today for a harvest that glorifies You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
