When You Feel Behind

Title: Grace for the Catch‑Up Days Scripture: Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Some days feel like you’re chasing a train that has already left the station. Tasks pile up, pages wait to be built, and your heart whispers, “I’m behind.” But the Lord who began the work in you has not stepped away from it. He is both the Author and the Finisher.

Paul’s confidence was not in his own ability to stay on top of everything, but in Christ’s faithfulness to complete what He started. Your calling, your ministry, your website—these are not just your projects; they are His work in and through you.

Instead of measuring your worth by what you finish today, measure it by Who holds you today. You are not alone in the catch‑up. The same Jesus who called you is the One who carries you.

Prayer: Lord, I feel behind and overwhelmed. Thank You that this is Your work, not just mine. Strengthen my heart and steady my hands. Help me to take the next step in faith, trusting You to perform the good work You began in me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question: Where have you been trying to “perform” what only God has promised to “perform” in you?
